The 911 Carrera S has a 3.8L Boxer engine that can output 400 horsepower which is 15 horsepower more than its older version. This speed monster can blast from 0 to 60 miles an hour in a matter of 4.1 seconds or a heartbeat faster at 3.9 seconds when you have the Sport Chrono Package. The top speed of the Carrera S is pegged at 188 mph.

The Porsche 911 Carrera S chopped off around 100 pounds from the weight of its older version by using aluminum-steel components which makes most of the current build. The car is also wider with great aerodynamics having a slippery drag value of 0.29.

The Cayman R is also very potent at 330 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds. The top speed is recorded at 175 mph. The rear and front lift has been lowered by 40% and 15%, respectively. The power of the naturally aspirated flat six engine is transferred to the wheels by a 6-speed manual transmission. If you are too lazy to do the shifting, you can go for the 7-speed PDK automatic transmission with dual clutch.

Finally, magazine reports confirmed that the much awaited new Ferrari baby, the successor the Ferrari Enzo, will be launch next year. According to recent reports the new Ferrari Enzo will roll out with a V12 naturally-aspirated engine. This new report is in direct contradiction to the previous ones that say the new Ferrari Enzo will get a turbocharged V8 engine. No official reports have been released from Ferrari about the final engine specifications.

Moving on to the other Ferrari babies, the same reports tell us that a replacement for the 599 GTB Fiorano is underway. The replacement model bears the codename F152 and is under development as of recent time. While auto spies have caught a glimpse of the F152 prototype doing test drives in Europe, the F152 model is assumed to carry at 6.3-liter V12 engine with a rear-wheel drive platform. The F152 is expected to debut on the Geneva Motor Show while launch date is scheduled for the 2012 in Europe.

Now, for you top-down fans out there, the brand new 458 Spider will make its official debut this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show with its 4.5-liter V8 engine with 570PS and 540 Nm of torque. Lastly, other Ferrari models, the 458 Scuderia and California will be redesigned sometime in 2013. The 458 Italia is another Ferrari model that will get a facelift sometime in 2014. More redesigned Ferrari models to look forward to.

Here’s the difference between the two models. The Honda CR-Z Mugen Concept Car was built by Mugen Euro, a racing engine specialist company that is based in the United Kingdom. The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR model was designed by the brand’s division in Japan.

The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR prototype features boast of carbon fiber parts like the rear tailgate, bonnet, doors, underbody, front bumpers, rear suspension, and a dual central-exit exhaustion system. Among the figures thrown in the air by experts and enthusiasts alike, most experts agree that the final numbers are close to that of the Caddy’s engine that comes with 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft torque. Its Caddy-inspired figure winded down when GM stated that they don’t want the ZL1 Camaro to step over that of the Corvette ZR1′s LS9 with its massive 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft torque. New figures start to emerge.

The 1.9 liter supercharged LSA powerplant comes with a compression ratio of 9.0:1. The Cadillac CTS-V also comes with a higher hood line and a larger intercooler. Plus, the Cadillac CTS-V’s design allows optimum flow. With these engine features, the Caddy’s engine figures is unlike other performance cars’ engines. However, the new monster Chevy, the ZL1 Camaro, is rumored to ride side-by-side with the likes of Ford’s up and coming Shelby GT500 with speculated turbocharged engine figures rising up to 650 horsepower.

We have yet to hear of the monster Chevy’s final figures, however, reliable hush-hush from the recently concluded SAE testing reveals that the final numbers comes close to “North of 570 HP”. Anytime now, we might be hearing of the ZL1 Camaro’s engine numbers to stop the speculations once and for all.

The leaked images of the Huayra caused a chain reaction with other companies holding the release of the photos for quite a while now decide to post the additional official photos. And why would they not when they see the magazine.

All the buzz being built up to the official release of the Pagani Huayra which is the supercar replacement to the Pagani Zonda. Here is the official video of the release:

The Pagani Huayra features a 6.0L bespoke V12 AMG powerplant capable of bringing out 700 horsepower and a monstrous torque of 811 lb-ft. Imagine what it will be like on the driver’s seat since the car is also very light at 2,976 lbs. since it is using a chassis made of carbon-titanium. The 7-speed gearbox is also very light at just 212 lbs.

Pagani is still holdin back on the performance numbers and only shares that the car can blast from 0 to 60 mph in a matter of 3.3 seconds. The Pagani Huayrah can go as fast as 230 mph. The supercar has also passed the standards of crash tests in the United States. Another bit of information is the the aerodynamic flaps that comes into play at high speeds to boost the down force of the car.

It burns your bank account with a whopping tag price of $1,219,300.

The new 5-door Evoque will somehow extend the appeal of the ride by giving it more space inside and flexibility compared to the coupe. Basically though, both cars are based on the same DNA with the 5-door having the same length and width and only taller by around 1.8 inches.

The Evoque five-door will have the same engine as its kin, a 4-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0L that outputs 240 horsepower. It can bring the Range Rover from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.1 seconds. Land Rover also injects features like steering that’s electric power-assisted, adaptive dynamics, and Terrain Response technology.

The interiors, from the panel, seats, and doors, are hugged by premium leather with twin-needle stitching. Buyers will also get a full size glass roof, Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming, and touch screen display. An audio system from Meridian with 17 speakers will provide the booming bass and crisp sound.

The Range Rover 5-door Evoque will be available in 3 styles: the Dynamic with its bright colors, Prestige for those seeking some luxury, and the more neutral Pure version.  Consumers in the U.S. can expect first deliveries by fall next year. Sticker price will start at $45,000.

The BMW M3 gets new shoes with a set of 19-inch ATS Racelight rims hugged by high speed sport tires from Michelin. This trimmed down 1.5 kg for every wheel.

APP also installed Stoptech STR forged aluminum brakes with six-piston saddles and 2-piece 380 by 35 mm disks upfront while the rear gets 355 by 32 disks and 4-piston saddles. This set up for the brake further trims down 8 kilos for every axle.

The suspension of the car was upgraded using a club-sport set from KW. Other elements used for the exhaust system are customized using titanium which sheds off 23 kilos more off the BMW M3.

Talking about performance, the M3 gets a boost of about 30 horsepower and additional peak torque of 40Nm for its V8 powerplant. The car also gets some metallic titanium-silver effect made by CFC.

One report filed on Auto Bild is saying that the McLaren Automotive may squeeze in some seats to pave the way for a 2+2 MP4-12C. If ever this will materialize, this version will be the first 4-seater rolling off the Woking line but it will not be the first McLaren to have more than a pair of seats. Remember that the McLaren F1 has a 1+2 configuration with the driver of the supercar right in the middle which is a design not used for the MP4.

Now InsideLine is disputing this earlier rumor claiming that they got word from the PR department of McLaren, and that there will never be a 2+2 version of the MP4-12C. They are saying that anybody thinking that the British car manufacturer is on the drawing boards to give the market a range of vehicles with more than a pair of seats is wrong.

McLaren may really after all just focus on making a two seater, mid-engined MP4. If ever there will be a 2+2, then your other date must take the back seat.
